Is it Romans materialism? Read Daniel 7:3-7; 17-25, and then read of the fall of Roman materialism Revelation 18:3; 5; 9-11; 15-19, as those who profited from Rome wail and lament their loss (The impossible has happened). Revelation chapters thirteen through eighteen needs to be studied together; for instance 17:6-14 provides some additional thought to our subject.
